Sheet & plate rolling

Rolling of flat plates to form cylinders or curved plates and various forms including:

 - Cones

 - Spirals (staircase stringers etc)

 - Fence panels and grilles

Limitations:

 - No minimum thickness

 - Maximum thickness 25mm (in flat bar form)

Materials worked with: Mild steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium, Bronze, Copper and Brass

Folding & pressing

Bending of flat plates to form sections or various components including:

 - Stair treads

 - Trays

 - Developments (square to rounds etc)

 - Pressings (numerous folds to achieve a tight curve)

Limitations:

 - Minimum thickness 1mm

 - Maximum thickness 12mm

Materials worked with: Mild steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium, Bronze, Copper and Brass

Cutting

Shearing using a guillotine

Limitations:

 - Minimum thickness 1mm

 - Maximum thickness 8mm (thicker materials can be profiled)

Profiling of flat plate & sheet using:

Plasma, Laser, Fibre laser and Water jet

Machining

Processes available:

 - Turning
